Some historical legends imply that hot cross buns stored on Good Friday will stay fresh throughout the year. These tasty treats from Beaucoup Bakery won’t last long enough for anyone to find out. Made with Beaucoup’s buttery brioche recipe, combined with candied lemon and orange peel sourced from France, currants and a pinch of spice, these buns are intended to be enjoyed hot and fresh.
Sold individually, Beaucoup’s brioche hot cross buns are priced at $2.75 and will be stocked daily from March 23 until April 6. Those wanting to place bigger orders are encouraged to call ahead at 604-732-4222 to ensure availability.
