Vancouver’s beloved brunch institution, Café Medina, is set to mark International Waffle Day on Wednesday, March 25 by partnering with local charity Mission Possible through the Mealshare program to provide meals to those in need in local Vancouver communities.
For every one of Café Medina’s signature Belgian Liège waffles ordered on March 25, the restaurant will feed one person through Mealshare, a non-profit initiative that partners with local restaurants to provide meals to the less fortunate.
On March 25, waffle lovers are invited to share their Café Medina Waffle Day experience for a chance to win brunch for two at Café Medina. To enter, participants must ‘follow’ or ‘like’ Café Medina and share a photo or video on Twitter (@CafeMedina), Instagram (@medinacafe) or Facebook (/medinacafe) using the hashtag #WaffleShare. The contest runs between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 25, with the winner randomly selected and announced by 8 p.m. that evening.
