The grapes for this wine originate from the Home Vineyard and displays generous complex black cherry, cassis, tobacco leaf, eucalyptus, cedar and clove aromas and bouquet. Only 188 cases of this fresher style of Cab are produced. On the palate it reveals a subtle but beautiful tannin acid balance with intense fruit and spice, and a long lingering finish. This wine would age gracefully for 4 to 7 years, but is ready to enjoy now. Try with garlic marinated flank steak on grilled ciabatta. 90 points. Full bodied with blackberry, raspberry, cherry and a vanilla toastiness, this wine delivers on extraordinary flavors. Touches of cinnamon and clove mingle generously with big fruit.
